JC Tutoring
Experience
Experience & Approach
With over nine years of JC tutoring experience, I specialise in breaking down content-heavy subjects and teaching efficient, exam-savvy strategies. I have taught students from every JC in Singapore, including MI and private candidates, and I am familiar with the differing expectations, pacing, and exam requirements across schools.
I create customised H1 General Paper and H2 History lesson plans that match each student's curriculum and ability level, ensuring that learning is paced appropriately. I closely track each student's progress and set aside weekly slots for additional consultations during peak periods. Students may also reach out to me anytime with topic or subject-related questions, and I usually reply within 24 hours, or sooner during exam season.
My students at The Write Way come from diverse backgrounds, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and Asperger's. With guided structure and consistent practice, many had shown steady improvement and gone on to score well in the national A-level exams.
Many positive reviews by parents and students for my teaching style and recommended studying methods
All students improved significantly and did well in national exams - track record here
