H1 General Paper

GP can be tricky because of all its technical requirements. Consequently, even students who did well for O-Level English may find it difficult to score for GP. My lessons target these specific weaknesses with clear explanations of the subject requirements and what markers look out for. Each school teaches GP differently, and having taught students across all JCs islandwide, I am familiar with most methods. My courses at NUS (double major in History and English Literature) were also highly relevant for argumentative writing, an indispensable skill for the Essay and AQ components in GP. Beyond answering techniques, my lessons also cover a wide range of content topics. Little to no memorisation is needed - GP is all about crafting quality responses from information that you probably already have in your daily life.
