English Literature
$110-$160 per lesson

I hold a Master's degree in Literature from NTU and have a background in academia. I started out tutoring part-time as an undergraduate and became a full-time tutor after graduation, hoping to impart my earned and effective skills to a wider range of students.

Literature is often perceived as dull or solely focused on Shakespeare, making it daunting for some. Many of my previous students faced a common challenge: 'I understand the story but struggle to answer questions or score well.' No worries—I'm here to help! To address this, my classes will extensively focus on techniques and a compilation of quote analyses. These will all be curated and adjusted according to syllabus updates and to the individual student's weaknesses, condensing exam preparation in the most efficient manner. A bonus I hope to achieve as your tutor is making Literature less of a foreign subject. I aim to make it much more comprehensible and even fun!
*While the Literature set texts vary across schools, be assured that given my tutoring experience and 10 years of specialised education in Literature, I will be able to teach your/your child's book(s). I will also be covering the (un)seen sections extensively.
